5 KICKS I WOULD LOVE TO SEE RETRO

Remember the mid 90's when nike trainers and basketball shoes were hella fat. I'm talking about compact, heavy artillery, sandwich looking shoes. Remember those days? Well I do. Those were the pinnacle of shoes at the time. No lines, no hassles, no fights.....shoes were easy to cop back in the days. And if you really wanted the pair those jordan/nikes that were releasing in a couple of weeks you could reserve your pair and do a pre-pay at a footlocker to lock your size down. I'm not even going to start about how todays shoe market is....SMH I'm sure yall already know how it is. I tell you what though, I would love to see some shoes make a comeback in todays market, hopefully the shoe gods listen...

So we seen nike and other heavy brands like Reebok retro some classics over the years...But every other year they retro the same shoe. C'mon B.......STOP! Stop it! 100% we want to see new retroes. We want to see better colorways and I aint even gonna talk about the quality, I say deal with it because we're blessed that shoe brands are even retroing these classics. We get to relive some memories of our childhood or actually get a chance to own the shoe that we always wanted just didn't get it at the time because mom couldn't give you enough lunch money to save. So stop it with the quality nagging, Yall asked for less toe creases am i right? well Nike answered yall prayers. Nike gave you hard fake leather that barely creased. Remember?

On the real folks, Here are my top 5 kicks that I would love to see footwear brands retro....

1. NIKE AIR BARRAGE

This mixed Trainer/Basketball shoe was used on the football field by many football athletes and on the basketball court by Reggie miller. Bring it back!

2. NIKE AIR MUSCLE MAX

Powerfull looking, and pretty heavy this shoe was use by a famous Olympian named Dan O'brien. Not my favorite color in the pic, I pefer the all white pair. Bring it back Nike!

3. REEBOK ANSWER I DMX

Theres the Questions and theres the Answers. Reebok brought this famous model back from the Iverson museum, but they never retroed IMO the best color of the Answer I's shown on the picture up above. Bring it Back Reebok! (P.S. Please change that corny triangle logo.)

4. NIEK AIR CHALLENGE LWP

Andre Agassi? You damn right! The man who made Tennis fun to watch. The Air Tech Challenge line is one of the best Nike Sigs of all time! Bring it back!

5. NIKE AIR MAX CW SENSATION

C-Webb!! Nike needs to bring these back in this colorway. OG on me! Bring it back! WARRIORS! Rememeber those days? C-Webb, Sprewell, Mullin, Tim Hardaway! SQUAD!!

FINAL WORD:

Don't never look back in the past...we gotta move forward for better days. It may sound to deep but these shoes brings us good memories for us 80's babies. Good child hood memories especially. We would wear these kicks outside playing basketball, tag or even hide and go seek until sun down. No video games, no cell phones, not America Online......not worrying about ou future, we were just kids having fun in the neighborhood....
